Did you know......

...that Inspire now has an editable construction history?

While it is not marketed as a CAD tool, Inspire has some pretty amazing geometry generation and editing tools.  With sketching and parametrics, some serious geometry can be created in Inspire.  In fact, since I do not have access to and have not touched a CAD system in over 20 years, all the demo models I have ever created have all been done in Inspire.  Most of them, long before the wickedly cool tools we have now, which would have made the job so much easier.

Any geometry created in Inspire has a history to it and we can turn on the Construction History Browser using the VIEW pulldown or by clicking F6.

Using the history browser we can go back and edit previous actions by right clicking them and selecting edit.  Really powerful stuff and can make exploring different design features a breeze.

Take a look at this cool tool and check back here for more additions in the "Did you know?" series.

if you have questions or ideas for future blogs, pop them in the comments and we will see you next time.
