Biberach University of Applied Sciences is a technical university that has a focus on practical education for their students. The challenge for the university was to create modern and unique architectural building designs that would be: functional, stiff and light in weight. OptiStruct from the HyperWorks suite was utilised for this design process. A professor from Biberach University stated "Using an optimisation tool like OptiStruct has definitely influenced the way I design and construct."
