In July 2015, Team Bath Racing achieved 4th place at the Formula Student competition, but what is their secret? Simulation is the answer! Team Bath Racing from University of Bath is a Formula Student team that deploys simulation technology to design race cars before the manufacturing and racing process. The team used HyperWorks CAE technology to successfully optimise car components in order to diminish the overall weight of the race car whilst maintaining the strength for optimal performance.
