Hello,

I have this model :

I created a non linear quasi stati loadstep to impose a displacement to the blue plate and at the end of this loadstep i have this result:

How can I create another loadstep that will apply a load or a displacement on the structure as it appears at end of 1st load step?

I am working with Altair hyperworks 2017.

Thank you for your help.

If you are using NLSTAT you can use Continuous Nonlinear subcase (CNTNLSUB). It exists in subcase options.

If you click option = yes it will continue for earlier subcase(loadstep) id. You can also refer it to follow a specific subcase id.

Other way is to use Nonlinear Transient simulation, where you can give the behavior of load vs time xydata, and you can combine everything in one loadstep.
