Time frequency of /TFILE and /ANIM/DT is not fixed

Hi,

 

TFLIE and ANIM/DT setting are as follows.

Time frequency of time history data and animation is as follows.

Time frequency of time history data and animation is same but is not same as setting.

 

How can I fix the time frequency of the time history?

    Hi,

    I think time history and animation output is done at the closest timestep to the output time request time.  Thus it won't be exact and usually is close enough.  Maybe if you forced your timestep to be 6.1035e-5 or a 1/2 or 1/3 etc. factor of that time then the output would be at the correct time.  Take a look at the /DTIX command to specify the time step.
