How is VonMises strain output in hyperview calculated by Optistruct?

Hello,

 

I have corroborated that Von Mises STRESS is output considering this formula, with principal stresses

What formula does hypermesh  uses for strain?

    Hi, 

     

    Normally, we use the same criteria for each solver ... Just be sure that you plot stress in Gauss point or ...
