How do you perform a GROUNDCHECK with G, F, A, and N DOF sets selected ?

Hi,

I am encountering a problem trying to run a GROUNDCHECK inside of HyperMesh 2023.1, because I cannot find the subcase information entry as specified in the documentation. Here is a photo of the documentation :

The only GROUNDCHECK I have been able to find is the GROUNDCHECK CARD, however, it does not let me select the DOF sets that I want, and instead doesn't offer the option to choose at all, and selects the G-set after consultation of the output file for the analysis.

Is it even possible for me to choose the DOF sets I want for my modal analysis?

I use HyperMesh 2023.1 with a student license.

Thank you for your help,

    Hello Guillaume,

For reference, you will need to modify the GROUNDCHECK command in the input deck for OptiStruct as there is not a field to add this in HyperMesh v2023.1.  The command to do this is below or similar:

    GROUNDCHECK (PRINT,SET=ALL) = YES

This should print out rigid body checks with G, N, F, and A-sets as in attached model.

    Thanks,

    Rob H.
