PDF input options
I am needing help opening PDF as input . Does anyone know how to get Monarch to drop the leading and trailing "." from the PDF input? It is causing problems with the data formatting as char instead of numbers as the field data is different lengths.

When opening a PDF file, you are limited to the document options available for the PDF engine monarch is using. You may be able to change to a different engine to use different options, but dropping leading/trailing characters is not one of them.
Not sure if you are using DPS or Monarch Classic, but either way, you should try to capture the data you are looking for and then clean it up in the prepare tab or using formula fields to modify the field.
