Radioss and Optistruct not insalled with hwSolvers2021.2_win64

Hello,

I do not understand why the solvers are not installed when I run the installer file hwSolvers2021.2_win64. The installation proceeds but at the end the Radioss 2021.2 and Optistruct 2021.2 are not on my pc.

    No need to interact with 2017. Please start hw2021.2_win64 and select all packages you want to install when prompted (the default choice will be all available packages selected)

    Can you please let us know the sub-directories present in C:\Program Files\Altair\2021.2, as well as the size of C:\Program Files\Altair\2021.2\hwsolvers?

    The size of the hwsolvers folders in the two directories above is the same, 4.34 GB (4,662,081,621 bytes)

    Do you have a Compute Console 2021.2 item in your start menu under Altair 2021.2?

    Can you please uninstall both instances of hwsolvers you have as well as hwdesktop, then reinstall all HW in the same directory using the Simulation Products Installer 2021.2?

    Alright. I have also the 2017 version's tools on my PC. Shall I uninstall all of them as well?

    These are the installer files I have available. Which one should I use for the new installation?

    Hello Matthieu, I followed your procedure and installed again using hw2021.2_win64.exe. In the packages selection the Solvers 20201.2 box was selected but I couldn't see Radioss or Optistruct explicitly. Now the installation is done and I have the Compute Console 2021.2 item in my start menu under Altair 2021.2. Still there is no Radioss application on my pc as it was with the 2017 version. Is it correct? Perhaps there is a new structure and integration of the different tools through the Compute Console with the newer version?

    OptiStruct and Radioss are part of the Solvers package. You can start them using the Compute Console or from our GUIs such as HyperWorks or SimLab.
