can you resolve "A segmentation error"?

Hello there,

when I'm working with HyperWorks Desktop (student edition), the messages "A segmentation error occurred. Do you want to save your model?" appears. For this reason, I can't do anything. I've already tried to delete setting files but the problem is still there.

Please, can you help me to resolve this problem?

Segmentation errors are tricky because it doesn't give any information about the problem.  So all that information needs to come from context.  Does it only happen when you do certain operations?  If so, what are the steps to reproduce the error? Is it just with a certain model?  If so, can you share the model?  If it is a more general problem which happens often no matter the model or the operation then it maybe system related. Do you have another system/machine that you can try it on? Basically if the problem is repeatable it is easier to find out what the issue is.
