Hello,

Can you tell me what this note means?  I noticed that when I changed the support from pin to fix, the issue went away. Please explain that note and I have attached an image.

Regards,

Hello Maryam, I believe I can be of help here.

FYI SL001 is related to instabilities in the model as described in the Solver Diagnosis Messages file (That you can find here S-FRAME Analysis Solver Diagnosis Messages) Here is an excerpt from it:

As you can see, it mentions that it corresponds to instabilities in certain degrees of freedom (DOFs) we can pin down which DOFs are causing the issues from the diagnosis message right after the FYI:

Node 11, DOF 4 (Rotation in X) is most likely set to "Free" Once you change the support type from Pin to Fix, the DOF setting in the node is changed to "Fixed", hence the FYI goes away.

This can vary from different loading conditions and it's not indicating that the analysis or model is failing, it's just something that the solver wants you to be aware of.

If you require any additional help or would like us to take a deeper look at your model, don't hesitate to reach out to our support email.

    Best regards,
