SimLab 2018 Graphic Window WIdth issues

I'm learning SimLab.  At first there were no problems with screen width.   Then the Model Browser window (and output/selection windows) started taking up 90% of the screen width.   After multiple attempts I could drag the window width to the left, and sometimes it would lock in to a narrower Model Browser window.   Very erratic.   My screen is 1920 px wide, and the screen width is perhaps 2000 px -- and cannot be narrowed.

 

Now I cannot drag the window width to the left at all, leaving a 1' width graphic window to display the model.    I can drag it, but it does not lock to the desired width.  How to fix the defaults to set the window widths!   

 

Ooops!   As I write up this problem, I can suddenly narrow the total window width, and increase the graphic window size.   Is this a problem with Win 7 on a Dell workstation laptop?  Nvidia Quadro M3000M.   Driving me nuts!

    Today, I had no more issues with the windows being too wide.  Could be a Window 7 and graphics card issue?
