Rib optimization

Hi,

 

I am trying to optimize an rib.

But i don´t know how to optimize it.

I created the right pressures and i choosed the topology optimization,but the results was not in format of  trusses like i expected.

i tried free size and  gauges but i did not get the results i expected.

So problably i don´t know  choose the constrants correctly.

    When you say you don't know how to do that, I think it's better you begin some simple tutorials in your installation.

    Hi @tiago3008

     

    From your model, I learned that design constraint is volume and the upper bound is given for compliance as 0.03 which mean solver will remove almost all the material. 

     

    How did you arrive at a compliance value of 0.03?
