Hello Team:

Could anyone advise how I may calculate a Running Total within a Subtotaled Key Field (Region).  I am familiar with using ****() for a whole report,  but I need the running total to apply within each Key field which is subtotaled.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Al,

Please try the attached ****.dpwx(.txt), which takes an input file of Book1.xlsx, which looks like this:

Transforms it using a Summary which is configured as follows:

and exports to a file which I have imaginatively called Sheet1$.xlsx

(Note you will need to rename ****.dpwx.txt to ****.dpwx in order to use it.)

Sorry that I don't have an answer, but I appreciate your directing me to the ****() function.  I needed that yesterday. :)

    Thanks Nicholas:

Works very well in DPS.  Is it possible to do same with Monarch Classic?

    Thanks

Quite welcome.  I'm not sure if this could easily be done in Monarch Classic or not.  I would probably have to direct you to Professional Services, or else you could ask during our next Ask The Expert session, https://web.altair.com/ask-the-expert-monarch-series
