Inertia Relief method
Hi,
I am doing analysis of simple shaft with force using inertia relief method.
At ends of the shaft I have formed a spider(multinodal RBE2 element), and have created a suport1 constraint with all translation motion fixed. Point load is applied on the shaft. I have used activated control card param>inrel>-1. Also in sub-case defined Suport1.
When running and its showing error.
INERTIA RELIEF INFORMATION
Reference point : (-0.900000E+03, 0.533992E+01, 0.388932E+01)
*** ERROR # 786 ***
Invalid inertia relief subcase. Its SPC and SUPORT d.o.f. did not
properly remove all the rigid body modes in the model.
The subcase and the redundantly constrained component are:
subcase id = 1
spoint/grid id = 774187
component = 1
This error occurs in module 'asmbdrv'.
Please let me know solution to fix the above error. Thanks in advance..

Hello everyone,
I'm having some troubles when using inertia relief in my model. It is not constraining it at all and I am not understanding why.
The model is a formula student monocoque in CFRP and i'm using the option -2 of the inertia relief.
