Operating Environment of EDEM and Fluent
Hello every body,
I have a workstation and I want to install EDEM and Fluent on it.
Now the workstation has AlmaLinux8.
Is it possible to use EDEM and Fluent on this OS?
Also, is there any difference in how to operate the EDEM and Fluent on Linux compared to windows?
Regards,
Imaeda

Dear Fatemeh,
Thanks for your reply.
I looked at the two links.
However, neither of them specified "AlmaLinux8".
Does this mean that EDEM and Fluent will not work on AlmaLinux8?
As I am not familiar with PC and OS, I would appreciate a detailed explanation.

Hi,
I've not come across AlmaLinux8 and it's not something we directly support. I'm not sure what Fluent currently supports but we at EDEM currently support RHEL / Oracle Linux 8.3. It looks like AlmaLinux is based off RHEL so there's a pretty strong chance that it should work the same or similarly.
Cheers,
Richard

Dear Richard,
Thanks for your reply.
I understand that AlmaLinux is not supported but there's a chance I could use it.
