Compose silent install breaking Explorer.exe

Hello,

We are trying to deploy Altair products organisation-wide as silent installations via SCCM.

The problem is that some of them are generating the error bellow:

I will use Compose as an example and the resposne file can be found bellow. This doesn't happen with a GUI installation.

I cannot tell what is exactly breaking by analysing the registry as there are no noticeable differences between GUI and silent installation.

I was wondering if you have a fix for this. I think it will be quite easy to replicate with the attached response file as this happens on 1909 & 2004 builds.

@Adrian Cojocaru,

The error message in the file that you attached usually appears when someone tries to run a file that is not an executable. Can you please tell us exactly what command you are using to launch it?

Thank you for your response. The above error pops-up during the silent installation using the attached file. That is before the installation is finished.

Nothing is being launched. At least not by the end user.

If you can give a me a clue to what exactly is the installation breaking that is generating this error would be highly appreciated.
