S-FRAME DOESN'T RUN

Hello all,

 

I am trying to run the S-FRAME software in my laptop. It is a student license and I followed steps about licensing and all according to what Altair showed me to include licensing path as an environmental variable. I also double-check the license file so it matched the Ethernet address I'm using my laptop. When I try to run the program, the following message pops-up:

I'm not sure what does that mean or how to adjust the configuration of the software so this message is avoided. Does anyone has an idea of how to solve this issue?

Hello Juan.   Thank you for reaching the forum with your question.   I'll be glad to assist.

When that message (S-FRAME could not access a printer) is shown, we tend to ask a couple questions, just to have a better idea of your printer’s configuration:

• Do you know if you're connected to a network printer by any chance?   Is it possible that the network connection dropped out?   This may cause the program to not run.

• Do you have a PDF printer setup on your computer?   If so, could you try setting this as the default, and let us know if you experience the same behavior?
