Create a Spring

Hi,

I would like to create a spring in Optistruct, to add an displacement dependant force, but I cant find any tutorial.
To make it short I want to create my Radioss model in Optistruct.

    Matze,

    In general you would just create 1D elements using any one of the methods in the tutorial
    HyperWorks Desktop Applications > HyperMesh > HyperMesh Tutorials > Meshing > 1-D Elements:
    HM-3000: Creating 1-D Elements

    Only difference will be, that you need to use cbush or celas as per the requirements.

    sir how to apply spring with damper in my model that actually simulate as a rear suspension of  a motercycle 

    how to give orientation in a 1d>spring panel 

    and what represent these dof 1,dof2 .. .. .. .. dof 6
