LIMIT ON ITERATIONS REACHED. INFEASIBLE DESIGN

Hi,
I got the follwing message after finishing Optistruct.
I started it directly from Hypermesh.

LIMIT ON ITERATIONS REACHED.

INFEASIBLE DESIGN (AT LEAST ONE CONSTRAINT VIOLATED).

I identified the loadstep which causes the infeasibile design. I hope to fix the problem with creating more Iterations...

Can you tell me how I can increase the limit of Iterations?
I have already looked for solutions but have not found one.

    Hi,
    In OptiStruct, by default the number of iterations carried for an Optimization setup is 30. For few models 30 iterations may not be sufficient to get a converged optimization results.

    Follow the below procedure to increase the number of iterations for a optimization run:

    • Go to Analysis page and click on Optimization.
    • Click on opti control
    • Activate the DesMax=
    • By default the number in the field next to DesMax is 30
    • Give a number above 30 (say 50 to increase the no. iterations to 50)
    • Click return to exit the panel
    • You can see optimization control in the model browser.
    • The number of optimization iterations is increased to 50 from 30.

    Hello, im still face the error of

     LIMIT ON ITERATIONS REACHED.

    INFEASIBLE DESIGN (AT LEAST ONE CONSTRAINT VIOLATED).

    although i already change the iteration number, may you help me ?

    Hi,

     

    Please consider re-creating optimization constraints. The dispalcements in your model is 0.78 and you have give a constraint of 0.07 which may not help.

     

     

    Try with Minimize compliance and constraining volume fraction.
