Hello,

My name is Samuel Monge, and I'm using HyperWorks to optimization of FSAE chassis car, and I don't know how to export to .IGES or .STL my topology optimization.
If you could help I thank you soo much.

Regards.

    Hi Samuel,

Once the topology optimization is completed, you can then go to post > ossmooth (set autobead to none) and then open the .fem file here (the ,sh file will be automatically loaded) make sure the option is set to geometry and then run ossmooth.

    See - Altair OptiStruct > User's Guide > Design Interpretation - OSSmooth:
    Running OSSmooth

    Hi Rahul,

Is there a way to export the geometry directly from hyperview into an IGES file? I'm working with a code that is trying to automatically send a topology optimization from hypermesh/hyperview to rhino and the current h3d file is not supported by rhino.

    Thank you,

    Alex

    Hi @alexdonner

You can use OSSmooth in HyperMesh to export geometry of the optimized structure

Please refer to OptiStruct help for more information,

You can also export ISO surface from HyperView to .STL format. Goto Tools>>Export>> ISO SURFACE
