when exporting geometry from OSSmooth, An error occurs, that the 'grid' file is missing, when trying to run the OSSmooth utility from within HyperMesh
the 'GRID' File is needed only for the geometry recovery after a 'topography' optimization. If you try to recover geometry from a topology optimization, you can deactivate the button 'autobead' and the grid file input is not needed.
