Could not find acusolve in c:program/ ….. Error

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for the file. Right so i started with the steps in analysis but when I try to run the analysis it gives me an error that ” Could not find acusolve in c:program/ ….. It says i need to set a path in Edit—> Prefernce—>VWT–>Acusolve but i find no such thing there. Can Please help me in this regard.

    HI ,

    Firstly, you must make sure acusolve is installed for vwt to run its analysis,
    It is recommended that Virtual Wind Tunnel 12.1. is installed with AcuSolve CFD Solution 12.0.310

    The reason for this error is that VWT is not given the path to the acusolve installation directory,
    Installation Directory is the file path to the installation location of AcuSolve. Note that only the base AcuSolve directory is needed, for example C:/Program Files/Altair/12.0/acusolve, not the exact location of any given executable. Without the proper directory specified here, AcuSolve cannot be invoked to perform the meshing and CFD calculations. icon_neutral.gif

    Once acusolve is installed go to edit > preferences > acusolve (in analysis)
    in the installation directory field navigate to the acusolve installation directory

    Once you have set this path you should be able to run your analysis icon_smile.gif
