Hello

I would like to understand FluxMotor simulation results on phase & DQ inductance values.

In theory, DQ inductance = 1.5 * Phase Inductance. But different results are achieved.

I want to understand whether there are any simulation set-up issues or anything else that impacts the simulation results. I would like to know how the d and q axes and inductances are calculated on FluxMotor ?

Attached is a SMPM motor inductance values, could you please explain how they have been calculated ? relationship between d and q inductances and phase self-inductances ?

Thank you so much.

    Hi Ramin,

    Inductances are computed from the Magnetostatic project of the FluxMotor model in Flux 2D.

    DQ = 2/3 * (Transformation matrix) *ABC.

    Following this, the DQ inductances are computed from ABC flux linkages of Coils and current

    Thank you,

    Lavanya
