How can I get the total mass of the FE-modell using OptiStruct solver?

You do not need to use the solver to calculate the mass of your FE model, you can do this while preprocesing in HyperMesh itself,
Just go to tool > Mass calc and choose the entities.

The total mass at each iteration of an optimization is output to the .out file
