How to identify the component in the graphics area

 I have an assembly of 400 components and I want to get the ID of certain component. I use FIND> FIND ENTITIES> toggle to component> click on the component I wish to get the ID> and hit the find button. I get the message “One component was found” but without the name or ID of the component. Could I get the hint how to solve this?

Ziga,

The best way is to use the selector option in the model browser,

click on the selector, (it is the white arrow icon highlighted in orange in the image below) then click on the component in the graphics area and you will find this component highlighted (in grey) in the model browser and hence you have the id
