Convert Bulk to Block

Hey guys,

I got another question for you:

Is there a way to convert a Bulk model into a block model ? It is about an non linear geometry analysis with material curve and I do want to impose a forced velocity which is just possible with the block model, right?

Manuel,

Please go to tool > convert > Optistruct > RADIOSS (block format)

This is the general conversion method, there are other methods to convert as well,

You can create a 'geom non-linear (impl static)' or NLGEOM loadstep in your Radioss bulk (optistruct) model. Then you run radioss and use the -check option and the starter and engine *.rad files will be created from your Radioss bulk model.
