Altair License Management

We work with Altair Software Altair HyperWorks and the license managemant tool „Altair License Management System 12.0 Release“ on a Win 2003 R2 server
Every few days the service 'Altair License Server ' for the tool „Altair License Management System 12.0 Release“ crashes down and I manually must restart it.

The error message I get is:
FAIL: Unable to access lockfile C:\WINDOWS\Temp\x-formation\\altair.lock!
FAIL: Please check whether other license servers are running and ensure there are sufficient file access permissions.
Shutting down due to exit signal

What can I do to solve our problem with the license service?

    Hi,
    1, stop the license server.
    2. pls delete this file
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp\x-formation\\altair.lock!
    3. Delete/backup license log in log/<>
    4. Start the license server.
