Changeing Sets takes so long

Hello everyone!

I'm working on a simulation for a carbonfiber rim in Hyperworks. After the freesizing process I want to change the Sets of the created plies to make them manufacturable. Normally it took me just a few seconds to change a set but in my latest simulation it takes 15 min to 30 min. I already restarted my Computer and also did a compleatly new simulation but nothing changed. So, I hope you can help me now.

Hello, can you try closing HyperWorks then clearing out (deleting) your command.tcl and hmmenu.set files (usually under My Documents), and reloading the model and see if the problem still persists?

Also, have you explored the Ply smoothing tools in the Aerospace Pulldown or using the Ply Smoothing in OSSmooth? Both of these should make more manufacturable plies, without the manual effort (unless you are looking to make really specific shapes).
