I have this situation:
20 RBE2 elems and I need to renumber just the independent nodes of all 20. Is there a way to select all of them otherwise than picking one by one in order renumbering?

there is an option
1. right click on nodes
2. you will see a hell lot of options,select 'by geoms'.
3. select surfs then add to selection.
in this way you can select more than one nodes.

You are right, but, my mesh that include all 20 rbe2 is imported (just FE) so, I can't select 'by geom'(I don't have any geometry) and my problem is not to select all nodes of rbe2, I need to select just the independent nodes (20). Thank you for reply.
