Which combustion scenario is of interest?  (internal combustion engine, fire, explosion, etc)

I have compiled Ansys Fluent-EDEM and run a tutorial that I got from Altair site. Here we have observed a distinct variation in results: specifically, while ANSYS Fluent shows an increase in temperature, EDEM does not exhibit a corresponding rise after the coupling process.

I have to work on a combustion model and reduction in Rotary kiln. I have already done a coupled simulation(Bidirectional coupling of air-solid particles in a rotary kiln) with the use of Simlab and EDEM. Further, I have started to work on coal combustion in Simlab(CFD). Now, I am facing some problems putting reactions and chemical composition of iron ore and coal particles in Simlab(CFD) as it is necessary for calculating reaction rates and species concentration. I am not able to find out where I have to put all these. Please let me know which CFD software is better for combustion in Rotary kiln.

I think there is no capability for chemical reactions / combustion you're seeking within Altair products.
