Non Linear Analysis with OptiStruct Advanced Examination

Please could anyone reset my tries in the Quiz 5: Compression of a Hyperelastic Part?

Moreover, please check the results due to if you launch it in Hyperworks 2022 results are not the same that you have in the quiz. It's strange because the Von Misses stress are the same(+- 1% error) in both but the contact pressure (Normal) is in 534 in my results while your proposals in the quizz are over 1000. I hope your answer, thanks.

These attempts are reset, although versions may affect results it shouldnt be by large margins, please ensure teh steps in the exercise are followed exactly to get same results ...

Well, after that I have taken the same problem, now with the quiz 9. My results are the same that the presented in the tutorial https://learn.altair.com/course/view.php?id=174 topic 4, which is other of your course with the same exersice, but now in 2022 version (don't believe me, compare the contact force presented in 2020 pdf tutorial and the video).

Moreover, the tutorial presented in pdf are outdated, changing some things from version 2020 to 2022 version.

I hope you could reset my quiz 9 tries, I hope your answer.

I had the same problem yesterday, I believe that the question1 must be updated, because I performed the analysis as requested and had the same results of von mises strain equal to that shown in the hyperelastic analysis in the pdf which confirms that the analysis was done as requested. I failed the attempt only due to first question contact pressure (534 was the value I got) which had answers way above what I got in my analysis (1000 and above), but the second and third questions I got the correct answers, therefore the first question that had me fail the attempt.

Therefore I believe that the first question must be updated, and I invite the moderator to perform the analysis with the 2022 hypermesh to compare the results of the first question with that received from the analysis. I hope we get a reply as soon as possible or an update because I paused my progress in the non linear analysis because I dont want to waste my attempts.

Sadly I can't continue because I don't want to waste all my attempts, I only have 2 left so I believe I will wait until they check the analysis and see that the problem is not from us but it's just due to an update, I hope they can fix this quickly.

I have the 2022 versio because it's a student version, since you mentioned the 2019 version did you perform the analysis with the 2019 version as well? and in what aspect was it different from the results of the 2022 version?

Yeah I have the v2022 too but in the pdf the results are from the v2019. In others tutorial from Altair they obtain the same results than me (Course: OptiStruct for Non-Linear Analysis Recorded Class), for example in the quiz 9 I obtain the same results than left, whereas the results in the quiz are from the right.

Not idea, but the results should't be so different between versions, at least if the configuration is the same. If you look in the photo I have posted in the right part, it's all blue so there should be any error numeric node or something like that.

But the maximum contact traction in quizz 5 had answers way above 1000 but the analysis only give a maximum of 534, so I don't know what to think anymore.

also I want to know if I fail three attempts can it be reset again?

You can't, the reset your attemps from Administration. I recommend you to wait
