import csv files into hyperworks 2023 - optistruct
Hello,
I need to perform a bending analysis on a 3D beam with the aim of filtering stresses by setting a threshold. This can be achieved using the ISO module in HyperView. Once the threshold is set, I extract my data in .CSV format using the TABLE tab.
However, I would like to re-import this file to create geometry in HyperWorks 2023, but it seems impossible.
Do you have any solutions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you and have a nice day.
Best regards.

However, I have successfully exported my file in .STL format, but I am unable to import it into the software. Here is my process:
I go to File > Import > Geometry Model.
The .STL format is functional as I have successfully opened it in another software. Could you help me resolve this issue?
this is an issue with the current HW student edition ... this will be fixed in the next release of the student edition which will be the same package as the full version,

Hello,
You cannot export/import a csv file for geometry.
However you can export an stl file from Export > Iso Surface which should be able to be read by any CAD software (or Hypermesh).
