Hi,

 

 

I am simulating a wheel,but in other softwares i apply the force to a part of the face of the wheel.

But,if i aplly the force to the nodes that it is in the same face, the displacement the stress are much bigger than in apllying in just one node.

So,i would like to know if i need to apply in just one node,or apply to the face.

Please make sure to are applying appropriate load on structure.

Let say if you have to apply 100N force on specific face.Then count the no of nodes (let say 10 nodes)falls on that face and divide it by 100N.That means you should apply 10N force on each node to get 100N force.
