    Please note I_bat from the current sensor is the output from the sensor.
    You have connected it to the output of the PI controller. This is incorrect.

    The current sensor can only output the current measurement to the control circuit.
    The PI controller's output should be connected to a PWM generator which controls a switch. The turning-on and off this switch will control the current.

    It should be the same way as you control the current I_fb with the MOSFET.

    You don't have a switch in your circuit to control this current I_bat.
