In Starting HyperWorks with the new GUI.

In Starting HyperWorks with the new GUI I get the following error message 'HyperWorks has encountered an error and must close'. How do I resolve this issue?

I have installed both 2020 and 2022.3 on my Windows 10 laptop and both come up with the above message while attempting to start using the new HyperWorks GUI.

Does Legacy open fine?

If yes, it is possible an update to another software (such as webex) is causing an issue with Hyperworks writing to the boost_process folder.

You can check this by shutting down webex and trying again. 

The Hypermesh 2023 version should not exhibit this behavior anymore.
