The assembly I am working on contains two objects with contacts. One of the parameters that I am interested in is frictional energy dissipation, like in abaqus. I was wondering if there would be an equivalent output response in Optistruct.

In SimLab this option is not integrated. If you are interested in this, you will have to manually enter it in the text data of SimLab. See the picture below.

First of all NLENRG is for the bulk data section. This means:
Right click on the solution name > Text Data > Bulk Data.
