Open up h3d file directly in Hyperworks

Hello,

Is it possible to associate an h3d file so it automatically opens up in the Hyperview client of Hyperworks? In old hyperview, as a standalone application, I could associate .h3d files and it would be very quick to double click and view results. However, it does not work if I "open with" runhwx.exe. Now it's a pain to open hyperworks, switch the application, then open the file.

Thanks,

    Hello,

There is currently no way to directly associate an h3d file.

There is a direct shortcut to open new HV. It might be hidden in the shortcuts. You can launch HV and simply drag and drop the h3d.

Hi Jason. Thanks for the answer. Noted on the shortcut. Hopefully Altair can add this feature. It's a small thing, but definitely annoying considering I can do it with almost any other Windows program.
