How to create multiple spherical particles with different radius at once in EDEM

Hello,

It is easy to manually create 5 single sphere particles with different radius. However, it is difficult to manually create dozens, or even hundreds of single sphere particles with different radius.

Therefore, I was just wondering if there was a quick way to create dozens, or even hundreds of single sphere particles of different radius at once. Then, i can use these particles with different radius to create a meta-particle.

Kind regards,

Chao

    Hi Chao,

you can use size distribution option based on the distribution you require.

The available size distribution options are shown in below picture

For example: in your case I might use user defined with scaling by Radius option as shown in below picture

    Thanks,

    Hi Prasad A,

    Many thanks for your help.

However, if I create 100 single-sphere particles with different physical radius, and then keep the size distribution of all the single-sphere particles as fixed, and then use these 100 single-sphere particles with different physical radius to generate a metal particle.  I was wondering is there any way to achieve this instead of manually input.

    Kind regards,
