Welds are not visible

Hi!

I have created spot welds from connectors in Hypermesh and I have also assigned properties and materials to them.

However, when I open them in HyperCrash, it is not visible and shows as a void in the part.

I have also created bolts in the same way and they are visible in HyperCrash.

What can be the problem?

Hi

If HyperCrash detects spring elements to simulate weld connection, and the connection is done via tied contact /INTER/TYPE2 in the model, it will sort the spotwelds out from the part.

In order to have access to the welds, you can go to 'Connections > spotweld>check' for instance.

The browser panel will have the spotwelds listed.
