Also, i tried to use the new PSIM with my student license but still i have a problem in activating it (https://community.altair.com/csm?id=community_question&sys_id=7aad7992db5d9650cfd5f6a4e29619b7).

This license is a legacy license for a university. The new student license has more functionality than this license. which can be obtained here: https://web.altair.com/academic-hub-psim
