Modelling of stator or rotor laminates or equivalent modeling for motor structural analysis?

To increase your 'reply rate', i would suggest you to always make a better description of what you are trying to do, including some pictures, and what kind of effects you want to consider.
Too generic questions might not be understood, and often will be unanswered.

Iam performing modal analysis for motor. The motor consists of stator, windings, rotor, shaft etc. so, i dont know how to model stator and rotor laminations. is there any alternative method for modeling of laminations stacking or calculations.

the same question?
A structural 3D FE model is created to describe the vibration behavior of the machine and an acoustical FE model evaluates its acoustic response. The tooth and stator core is an assembling of laminated iron. This lamination is taken into account using equivalent mechanical properties.

Thankyou for your reply. can you explain how to calculation equivalent material properties for laminates. in my model 460 laminates are there. they are axially stacked together.
