Hi,

Iam doing drop test for electronic unit. for this i have meshed my unit in optistruct user profile. after that i have changed my userprofile to radioss and created loads and boundary conditions. updated my elements to shell4N elements from elements config option. but iam getting error as Error input consistency

2D sOLIDS(Quad & Tria)are not compatible with N2D3D=0

what does mean by N2D3D=0, how can i come from this.

    Hi.

The N2D3D  can be selected in the keyword /ANALY as for type of analysis.

N2D3D=0 is general 3D analysis. So in this case if you have /QUAD or /TRIA it will return error, as this element cards are related to plane (N2D3D=2) or axisymmetric (N2D3D=1) type analysis

    I hope this is helpful.

    I just resolved this error.

you can use 2D element type, and update all the element, then you can run this simulation normally.

    best regards!
