Parameterization of DC valve

Hi,

Previously i asked this question, still stuck with some confusion. I am working on Hydraulics circuit.  The DC valve (6/3 valve) which i want is different from the one in activate. I am stuck with manual parameterization of values to get what i required. I will attach both the Blocks, one which i require and the one which is available, please help me by inputting the values in it. This will be a great help.

Thank you

How did you recognize that the model didn't work? My first step was to add a bunch of sensors to see the operation.

-1, 0, 1 are not the correct valve inputs to simulate a switching valve. inputMax of valve is set to 10 basically, the input must be accordingly -10, 0, 10. Or you set inputMax to 1.

The ports are not connected according to your sketch.

Your left port (where pump is connected) corresponds to middle port of Activate valve. Just look at the port connections. Pump is connected to the an open port connection in middle position, closed connection for -1 and 1. This is exactly middle port of Activate valve. The straight and cross connections are realized for left and right ports, in your sketch for middle and right ports.

The different middle position behavior for your middle and right port is realized by look-up tables as described above.

    Hi Bhuvana Siva Teja,

Are you sure that you want to realize the circuit as shown in required block? In bottom position the pump is connected to a closed port, same for back flow of motor.

Did you try to setup a model with my hints in Parameterization of Directional Valve?

    Hi RoKet,

Yes, i have tried using the parameters you gave. The problem i was facing is, its not working in all 3 positions. When i gave -1,0,1 as input to shift the postion, its only working fine at 0 postion, but not in left and right postions.

For better understanding, i will attach a model created. The DC valve used in this is available in Altair. The one i require is attached above in Required block. May be, this will help in understanding my problem.
