cooling line & Chiller

hello expert can some one guide me what is the difference between coolling line and chiller? how we decide where we use the coolling line and chiller...i accidently used chiller in my simulation where some area of my model showing microprosity i used different option include cooling line to avoid this microporosity but did not succseed . but at the same place when i use chiller the microporosity gone. i am confused if this chiler work then how i put chiller component actually on my physical mold which is i planned to manufactue on the basis of my simulation.need advice .

    Hello,

    The purpose of chiller and cooling lines serves the same ideology. However, the chiller is always in contact with the mold metal interface and will target specific areas for steady cooling and solidification through conduction. On the other hand, the cooling line performs the same task overall with the matter of convection for steady temperature distribution throughout the mold.
