Hello,

while solving static and transient electro magnetic problems i wanted to see how great the force of an electro magnet is. Problem is that i can't check the boxes in the result request. Does anyone know why?

    Hello Christian;

    Are you simulating in 2D or in 3D ?

    Is it linear actuator, or rotating one ?

    Anyway, to have the possibility to check theses boxes you need to define mechanicals sets (for the moment there is no possibility to define sensors for magnetic forces for Flux in Simlab as we have actual Altair Flux.

    Hello Farid, thanks for your answer.

    I am simulating in 3D and i already tried adding motion to the anchor plate, but that did not help.

    What do you mean by defining mechanical sets and where can i define them?

    Hello Christian;

    You are welcome !

    can you please submit a request to the support, so we can have a look on your project!

    Normally if you have defined the motion (what i call mechanical sets, this the naming we use in Altair Flux, the solved used in Simlab for EM Low frequency ) you should have access to the forces, or the torque.
