Altair student version

I installed student version 2021 from given link in mail. But i cannot find Motionview and any other softwares after installation. I can only find hyperworks desktop and hyperworks. Also , when i open hyperworks it gives me license error or after opening several times, a blank window. I already created environmental variable in advance system settings. Please help

You need to install the HyperWorks bundle, after the installation you will see the following apps in the start menu

HyperWorks 2021 is the new HW X interface, it starts with the HyperMesh application, and the application can be changed in the menu

 

HyperWorks Desktop 2021 will open the classic interface, it also starts with the HyperMesh application, and the application can be changed in the client selector

Please follow the steps here to troubleshoot the license error

I install using hyperworks bundle only. I can see same applications that you have showed above in start menu. But isnt there direct application for Motionview,Hypergraph,Hyperview,etc. Why we have to go through hyperworks to open these applications. I have used Altair 2013,17,19 and 2020 version. And for that, if i go to start menu, i see all the softwares inside. Please let me know if this new update. Also coming back to my issue, I have tried using software from Hyperworks directly.

But i cant see my graphical interface.Its just grey screen. Please help. For now i have changed to motionview.

The student edition will not list the apps separately in the start menu (this is possible in the full version only) they have to be started from within the HyperWorks desktop 

If you choose HyperWorks Desktop 2021

it will open the classic interface, it also starts with the HyperMesh application, and the application can be changed in the client selector
