Hi everyone,

I am currently working on a non-linear shape optimization in Optistruct. I wanted to ask briefly if anyone has guide, introduction or tips for me to learn this non-linearity in Optistruct better. Until now I have always done it linear and I have come up with many questions.

I already know the theory of non-linearity but how to apply it in the softwar I don't know.

I thank you for any tips and advice.

If you have not already completed the corresponding E-learning courses, maybe you can try them?

    Suggestion 1:
Altair e-learning environment > explore courses > (Filter for "Optimisation" under solutions category ). Here you can find Optistruct Optimisation, basic and advanced level. See screenshot below.

    Suggestion 2:
Topology optimisation seems to be included in the course "OptiStruct Optimization v2021 eLearning", see screenshot below.

yes well, I already know about topology, shape, size and topography optimization. The current problem with me is a non-linear optimization. What I have done so far was all linear.

    but thanks for the tipps.

Another idea: to select a course which has an instructor. Probably he can help you with specific questions.

If that does not work out, then the helpdesk is probably the last option.
