I am using hypergraph. I want to save the graph as gif with animation cursor. How can I do that?

    Hello, @Puran Singh ,

may I ask you for the version of HyperGraph you are using?

In the latest versions, in the curve attributes in the browser, there's a checkbox "Cursor always visible"

It should allow you to keep cursor visible.

Hello Michael. Thank you for your prompt response. I am using 2019 version.

    Hello again,

the older version on my laptop is 2020.1, and I still have this option. Do you have it in version 2019?

Does the gif export work properly?

    Best Regards,

    Michael

But how have you exported the graph in first place? I know only how to export it as csv. How to export it in gif form?

First you need to make sure that Capture toolbar is activated (View -> Toolbars -> HyperWorks -> Image Capture)

Then you can use the Capture Video icon and switch to gif format:

I am doing the same, but on left I get animation but on right I get static graph as shown above. Moving Cursor on graph is not being captured.

In curve attributes, I am not able to see checkbox "cursor always visible". Could you please share its screenshot?

Was you cruve plotted from a Measure in the HyperView left hand side window? If so, did you check Live Link option when plotting the curve?

If that is already set and the gif does not contain cursor, that may be a limitation from 2019 version. I remember it was not working propery if some of our old versions.

Is there any chance you can upgrade to a more recent version? 2019 is quite old now ;)

    Best Regards,

    Michael

Sorry I forgot to attach it t my first message. You need to select the window (not the curve in fact) in the browser:

One more question @Michael Herve . If I want to multiply the values of one of the coordinates by a certain value and plot the graph, how can I do that?

    Hello again @Puran Singh ,

you can define from the browser a scale factor on the ordinate of a curve:

    Would that help?
