Good morning friends,

I have to develop the analysis of a structure submited to constant loads and temperature, and I want to estimate its life. I want to know how to perform this type of analysis by Radioss (I think this is the best software in Altair to do that), and I w.ant to consider the Bailey-Norton law. Also I want to know the possibility to expose some of the parts to higher temperatures during the time. Thank you very much for your attention.

    Dear Hyperman,

Thank you very much for your response. Do you know about any tutorial for the implementation of the Bailey-Norton law?

    Thank you, regards.

    Hi,

searching for Bailey-Norton law in Hyperworks documentation did not produce results so it may not be supported.

Ok, thank you very much. Waht creep laws are supported in Hypermesh? Because information about this topic is not very extense on the software. Something else: is it possible to implement (program) this effect? Where can I find more information about this? Regards.

    Glad to help.

Refer to the last page in the attached tutorial for available material models.

Radioss also supports user programmed material laws.
